American President: An Online Reference Resource
Rich site, from the University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs, has a wealth of primary sources including public papers, party platforms (from 1840-present) , speeches, video, and audio.
Biographical Dictionary of the United States
Provides biographical sketches and years in Congress. Searches are by name, position, state, party, year or Congressional session.
Access to a vast amount of information from Congress, including ability to search for bills and resolutions, public laws, roll call votes, current activity in Congress, Congressional Record, legislative schedules and calendars, committee information, presidential nominations, treaties and links to other online legislative and governmental resources.

Feminist Majority Foundation
The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women's equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. In all spheres, FMF utilizes research and action to empower women economically, socially, and politically.
The site proclaims "Your Guide to the Money in US Elections." Detailed and virtually complete guide to campaign finance in the United States. Information about donations to campaigns at every level (local,state, and national) and from every source (individual to PAC). Created and supported by the Center for Responsive Politics, a respected political watchdog group.
Sophia Smith Collection
The Sophia Smith Collection at Smith College is an internationally recognized repository of manuscripts, archives, photographs, periodicals and other primary sources in women's history. It was founded in 1942 to be the library's distinctive contribution to the college's mission of educating women. Today, the Collection consists of over 700 collections (over 10,700 linear feet) of material in manuscript, print, and audiovisual formats. The holdings document the historical experience of women in the United States and abroad from the colonial era to the present.
The Supreme Court Database
The Database contains over two hundred pieces of information about each case decided by the Court between the 1953 and 2016 terms. Examples include the identity of the court whose decision the Supreme Court reviewed, the parties to the suit, the legal provisions considered in the case, and the votes of the Justices.
