Some words about finding journal articles in French

There isn't one special database that will provide you with all the research resources you need for your French Studies thesis.  Rather, there are many databases that will provide you with articles in French, so you will want to look for databases that cover the research topic you are interested in (databases that cover history, or music, or literature, etc.).  Some of those databases that may be best for such research are listed below, but you will find others in the French LibGuide and from the listing of Electronic Databases on the Library website (http://library.sewanee.edu).

*No matter which database you choose to search, look for the advanced search option so that you may limit your results to those in French.
