SOL & duPont Library 2020: Your One Stop Shop

Sewanee School of Letters - Home | Facebook

Welcome, SOL students! Because of COVID-19 the Sewanee experience, your MA and MFA classes, as well as your interactions with the duPont librarians and research help will all look a little different this time summer. To help you navigate library resources and access remote research help, we have created a guide that provides you a collections of need-to-know information about all the ways we can help you in your scholarly pursuits. We are not together in the library building, but we are with you behind the scenes to give you what you need, information-wise.

Here you can find how to:

  • acquire books (real ones!);
  • contact a research librarian for a quick chat or a Zoom consultation;
  • locate primary and secondary sources through databases, key word searches, and open web collections;
  • begin the research process and complete it in the correct citation style;
  • access specific MA class guides which link to books, journals and other online resources.
  • link to media, such as films, music and audio files.
