When doing research on interdisciplinary topics, you need to think about how different disciplines view your subject. For example, looking for a film topic in a literature database (like MLA International Bibliography) is going to give you a more literary perspective, while searching in a wider database (like JSTOR) may bring up all kinds of perspectives, from historical to psychological to technical. Think about which keywords you can use to help you hone in on the kinds of articles that will be most helpful to you!
