Environmental Studies and Policy (Gale OneFile)
Provides access to scholarly journals, magazines, and other reference sources covering environmental issues and policies. The database includes diverse perspectives from the scientific community, governmental policymakers, and corporate interests.
GeoRef
An index to books, articles in books, and journals and government publications related to the geosciences. Georef contains citations to over 2.6 million publications in a wide variety of subject areas, including geology, geophysics, geochemistry, paleontology, geomorphology and physical geography. Indexes materials on the geology of North America that have been published since 1693; covers materials on other parts of the world that have been published since 1933. Citations only.
Established by the American Geological Institute (AGI) in 1966. Includes references to all publications of the U.S. Geological Survey. Master's theses and doctoral dissertations from US and Canadian universities are also covered. To maintain the database, GeoRef editor/indexers regularly scan more than 3,500 journals in 40 languages as well as new books, maps, and reports. They record the bibliographic data for each document and assign index terms to describe it. Each month between 4,000 and 7,000 new references are added to the database. Search interface: Proquest.
GreenFILE
Indexes scholarly, government and general-interest titles covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Topics include global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records. Date coverage: 1913 to present.
Sources include scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. Contains abstracting & indexing for more than 600 titles, including complete coverage for Bioscience (back to 1964), Conservation Biology (back to 1987), Journal of Ecology (back to 1913) and Journal of Environmental Planning & Management (back to 1948).

Provides full text of articles from approximately 2,700 publications (many of them peer-reviewed.) Also includes abstracts and indexing from over 4,000 publications. Covers every core undergraduate subject (sciences, humanities, social sciences, business, and education) as well as cross-disciplinary areas such as ethnic studies, women’s studies, history. 1982 to present.
