Step 1: "Literature Reviews” is a descriptor – search in SU Descriptors (All) and combine with search terms on your topic - Limit to Journal Articles.
Step 2: Eric Digests are brief, 3-5 page, full text articles that describes the current state of an issue and provide a bibliography, but does not evaluate the pros and cons of the studies cited.
Step 3: Search for your topic and limit Publication Type to:ERIC Digests in Full Text.
In addition to the journal literature, ERIC indexes education-related materials from a variety of sources, including scholarly organizations, professional associations, research centers, policy organizations, university presses, the U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies, and state and local agencies. Individual contributors submit conference papers, research papers, dissertations, and theses.
