A research proposal is a short statement of reasons and methods for a specific study or course of research. It states the central claim that your research intends to address. Also, it contains a survey of the current state of research in your area and locates your study within this larger context. Typically, the methodology of a study is included. If the proposal contains a request for funding, then it must include necessary sections on timelines, budgets, and other logistical matters.
Polish some of the research skills that will be necessary for research, writing, and presentation across multiple academic disciplines.
