143 Day, celebrated on May 23rd, is a holiday inspired by Fred Rogers, known as "Mister Rogers" from the show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." It's a day to celebrate kindness and neighborliness, honoring Rogers' legacy of spreading love and understanding. The date, May 23rd, is the 143rd day of the year, and "143" was Rogers' way of saying "I love you" because there's one letter in "I", four in "love", and three in "you".  Check our our collection of Mister Rogers books, DVDs, and CDs in the Childrens' Area Display!  All of the items are available for checkout and you can view a title list here.
