Join us in celebrating Banned Books Week and the "Freedom" to Read throughout October! Our current display in the lobby features 25 of the most challenged titles of the last decade. All are available for checkout, and you can also learn more about why these titles were challenged! Click here to view a title list.

Give yourself goosebumps with our family friendly spooky films, now on display in the children's area and available for checkout. You can view the title list here.

While Southern Gothic has roots in Flannery O'Connor and William Faulkner, more recent authors have taken these themes and merged them with horror tropes to tell new stories about terrors both supernatural and actual. These later stories use the horror genre to bring an unsettling lens to parts of Southern life in the spirit of Southern Gothic and to question whether the real horror is the one in your head or the one in your history. View our display of Creepy Southern Stories in the newspaper area. All books are available for checkout. You can view the title list here.
