How to use the JSTOR database for maximum efficiency and utility

Search within an Article

It may not be immediately obvious, but every JSTOR article will also contain a results list for every time your search word or phrase appears in the article on which you have clicked.

Citing an Article

Each JSTOR article includes a citation feature which will auto-generate the citation you need for that specific article or book in MLA, APA, and Chicago citation styles.

Checking References

Each JSTOR article result, also contains a direct link to the references which an author used in preparing her or his article. You can use these references for source mining
