Content is presented as full text page images which can be viewed online or downloaded as PDF documents. With full-text searching of approximately 26 million pages, the product allows researchers new methods of access to critical information in the fields of history, literature, religion, law, fine arts, science and more.
The collection is an ongoing project based on The English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC), a machine-readable union list of the holdings of the British Library, as well as those from more than 1,500 university, private, and public libraries worldwide. Search interface: Gale InfoTrac.
A library of more than 2 million tracks (175,000 CDs) of streaming music from the catalog of Naxos, a leading classical music label, and selected additional labels. While the majority of the tracks are classical, the Naxos Music Library also includes jazz, blues, world and Chinese music. Also provided are text resources including overviews of music history, program notes for recordings, and the complete libretti of operas available in the Naxos Music Library. World music content is provided by ARC, Celestial Harmonies and others. Also includes selected titles of other leading independent labels, with more labels being added from time to time.
