A guide to the collections of the duPont Library

Collection Strategy

The overarching purpose of this collection policy is to provide strategic direction and guidance for the activities related to assembling, providing access, and maintaining  information resources in four main areas: the “general collection,” which focuses especially on supporting the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Letters, but serves all users; the School of Theology Library; the William H. Ralston Music Listening Library; and the William R. Laurie University Archives and Special Collections. Together, these robust collections serve the teaching and research needs of all University faculty, staff, and students, as well as the enrichment of the surrounding community.
