The Library has eBooks and eAudioBooks from OverDrive.

You can enjoy titles directly in a browser or download and use the Libby app on Android, Chromebooks, iOS, Fire tablets, and Windows 8/10.

• You will need to provide your barcode number from your university ID or library card when you are ready to check out and download titles. For students, staff, and faculty, your library barcode is the number "2" followed by your Banner number, ex. 2B00299999.
• You may check out 3 titles at a time.
• ebooks and eAudioBooks check out for 14 days.
• Borrowed titles will automatically return at the end of the lending period. You can also return titles early to free up space in your library account.

To view or listen on a mobile device, use Libby.

To use OverDrive on your computer, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to  https://tenn-share.overdrive.com
Step 2: Sign up for an account and use the barcode number from your library card or University ID for verification. You will need to choose "University of the South" as your organization.
Step 4:  Borrow a title
Step 5: After you borrow a title, you can:

• Click Read now with Kindle to go to Amazon's website and send the book to your Kindle or Kindle reading app.
• Read an ebook or magazine in your web browser. Learn more about reading in your browser.             
• Listen to an audiobook in your web browser. Learn more about listening in your browser.    
• Download an EPUB or PDF ebook to free Adobe Digital Editions software. From there, you can transfer ebooks to supported ereaders.
• Listen to an audiobook using Libby (available for Android, iOS, or Amazon Fire devices or at libbyapp.com in a web browser)   
• Close the pop-up window to keep browsing and borrowing.
