Rev. William S. Stoney

The Rev. William S. Stoney received his B.S. from Sewanee in 1920 and his B.D. in 1922. He was ordained into the priesthood by Bishops Guerry and Bratton, and worked many years serving the needs of a variety of congregations in the South. He joined the Sewanee Ambulance Unit on the day it was formed, June 6, 1917, spending almost two years of his life overseas through the unit's discharge in April 1919.
