Vanderbilt University

The University of the South has a reciprocal library use agreement with Vanderbilt University. Current faculty and students at the two institutions can use the facilities and check out materials from either library using their valid University ID. The agreement does NOT provide remote access to electronic resources. 

Prior to making a visit to Vanderbilt, we ask that you come to the duPont Circulation Desk so that we can confirm that your patron record is on file.  It is also a good idea to consult the Vanderbilt University Libraries'  Access and Use Policies as well as their Hours of Operation (see links below) to ensure you plan your trip accordingly. You will need to take your valid Sewanee ID with you to the Vanderbilt Library to confirm that you are a current faculty member. Hours of access for guests, including Sewanee users, are typically limited to daytime hours.
