Holds

When you place a hold, the library will notify you when the book is returned.

• You may have a total of 3 holds and/or recalls at any one time.

• Place a hold on a book at the Circulation desk or by logging into your library account.

• Audio Books, CDs, Videos, and Reserve materials cannot be recalled or held.

Recalls

Recalls are placed when there is a more urgent need for a book. A book must be checked out for at least a week before it may be recalled.

• Patrons may have a total of 3 holds and/or recalls at any one time.

• Recalls can only be placed at the Circulation desk.

• Audio Books, CDs, Videos, and Reserve materials cannot be recalled or held.

If all the copies of the book you need are out on loan, you can place a hold or recall on the book.
